Shohoku vs Kainan was the third game of the Final Four of the Kanagawa Prefectural Tournament in Slam Dunk.

Hanamichi Sakuragi was late for the game and did not play, Kominobu Kogure played instead of him. Takenori Akagi was subbed out in the 10th minute to avoid putting preassure on the injury obtained in the previous game against Kainan.
